When people visit The Club at Quail Ridge for the first time, they usually arrive picturing one kind of house. Then we start driving the community, and they see how many ways there are to live here. Within our 600 acres in Boynton Beach there are 947 residences, and they range from easy, lock-and-leave condominiums to custom homes with private pools.

After many years in the on-site real estate office, I’ve learned that the right home depends less on square footage and more on how you want to spend your days. Here is a walk through each type of home at Quail Ridge, what it offers and who tends to love it.

Garden Condominiums

Garden condominiums are our largest group of homes, with 370 residences across nine villages. Each has two or three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with generous living and dining areas and floor plans from 1,737 to 1,958 square feet. You can choose a first-floor or second-floor home.

Many of our buyers are surprised by how much room these condos have. They feel more like a home than an apartment, and many look out over the golf courses. Each Garden village has its own gathering area with a heated pool and gas grills, so you get to know your neighbors quickly.

Who they suit: Seasonal residents and anyone ready to downsize without giving up space for visiting family. Because exterior maintenance and landscaping are handled by the community, you can close the door in April and come back in the fall knowing things have been looked after.

Terrace Condominiums

Our Terrace condominiums offer two bedrooms and two bathrooms in 1,479 square feet, with comfortable living and dining space. There are 122 residences in four villages, again with a choice of first or second floor, and each village has its own heated pool and barbecue area.

Who they suit: Buyers who want a smaller footprint and simpler upkeep, whether it’s a first winter home in Florida or a part-time base close to the clubhouse, courts and courses.

Courtyard Villas

If you want the feel of a single-family home without the responsibility of one, our villas are worth a close look. There are 334 villas in nine villages. They are free-standing, surrounded by open space, and offer more than 2,300 square feet of living area. The front courtyard gives you a private outdoor room for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.

Over the years, many owners have customized their floor plans, so no two villas are quite alike inside. Like our condominium villages, each villa village has a gathering area with a heated pool. Painting and landscape maintenance are handled through the area associations, which is a big part of the appeal for people who split their year between Florida and home up north.

Who they suit: Buyers who want room to spread out and host family, a private courtyard and the privacy of a free-standing home, without spending weekends on yard work.

Custom Homes

Our 64 custom homes sit in three villages. They have larger lots, many have pools, and each one is different in size, architectural style, interior design and view. This is where you’ll find the most individual homes in the community.

Who they suit: Buyers who want a true single-family home with a private pool and outdoor space for entertaining, and who still want the services and social life of a club community just down the road.

Kittiwake Townhomes and Condominiums

Kittiwake is a small, distinct part of Quail Ridge, with 57 residences that include one-, two- and three-bedroom townhomes and Terrace condominiums. What sets Kittiwake apart is the rental program. Owners with a Full membership can choose to take part on an annual basis, and Quail Ridge rental management handles the details.

Who they suit: People who can only be here a few weeks a year and would like rental income to help offset the cost of ownership or someone who wants to be just steps to all club amenities. It is also a nice way to get to know Quail Ridge before deciding where you want to settle long term.

Life at Quail Ridge, Whichever Home You Choose

Every home here shares the same club. Quail Ridge is private, gated and member-owned, and all residents hold one of three resident memberships: Full, Intermediate or Primary. Full membership includes all golf, racquet sports, spa, fitness and social facilities with no greens fees (golf cart fees apply). Intermediate and Primary memberships include racquet sports, fitness and social facilities, plus 40 or 20 rounds of golf per household each year, with unlimited off-season golf at half the guest fee.

Here is some of what that membership opens up:

Two championship 18-hole golf courses: the North Course (originally Joe Lee; reimagined in 2025 by Fry/Straka Global Golf Course Design) and the South Course (redesigned in 2019 by Bobby Weed)
A racquet sports center with 16 Har-Tru tennis courts, a six-court pickleball facility and a pro shop
A spa and fitness center, a clubhouse with fine and casual dining, card rooms and a library
About six miles of walking and biking paths through grounds certified by Audubon International

Day-to-day living is easier too. We have 24-hour security, on-site housekeeping and maintenance staff, concierge services and in-home dining. Housekeeping can even check on your home while you’re away, which our seasonal owners appreciate.

And when you want to leave the gates, downtown Delray Beach, the Kravis Center and the Norton Museum of Art are close by, and Palm Beach International and Fort Lauderdale airports are an easy drive.
